The orginal 'Manual for Private Devotions' was originally written wholly in Greek. It was not published until 22 years after his death. This edition is written in Greek with Latin translation on the page opposite. Later diced calf with marbled endpapers, engraved portrait, engraved vignette of the Sheldonian on title page, 359pp. The three endpapers are loose as is the portrait, otherwise the binding is firm.
