ABOUT JACKDAW BOOKS
Jackdaw books was established in Holt by Mick and Eleanor Finn in 1997. We operated as a retail shop for nine years but have now closed. We trade on the internet and by appointment on the premises.
While we specialise in books about Norfolk and History, we also offer a large general stock including an antiquarian section. Other subject areas are ornithology, children's books, general fiction, literature, biography, art, antiques and many others.
Holt is a vibrant town situated in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside. It has many antique shops and galleries and with two second hand book shops, is well worth a visit. Should you wish to find self-catering accommodation in Holt or nearby try visiting www.glavenvalley.co.uk.
Our 'on line' stock can be searched by 'title', 'author' or key word or can be browsed in over 100 catalogues covering different subjects.
We are always happy to answer questions about particular books by e-mail or telephone. We try to process orders within 24 hours. We can also send digital images of books to confirm condition. All orders should be regarded as firm although books incorrectly described may be returned within 7 days of receipt subject to prior notice being given.
Most of our books are graded to give a quick indication of condition
